SUMMARY:
Junior Shipping Controller

Our client, internationally established Manufacturing organization, based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town has an opportunity available for a Junior Shipping Controller

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:

Matric / Grade 12.
National Certificate or Diploma in transport/logistics/supply chain (beneficial).
Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
Competent on Excel.
Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience within logistics/shipping environment (export/import documentation, bill of lading, invoicing, sea/air fright).
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to perform under pressure.
Strong administration skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong numerical skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Planning, shipment, and distribution
Picking and loading according to the schedule.
Responsible for raw material and local transport from suppliers.
Manage all administration and export documentation.
