Junior Shipping Controller
 
Our client, internationally established Manufacturing organization, based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town has an opportunity available for a Junior Shipping Controller

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:
 
  • Matric / Grade 12.
  • National Certificate or Diploma in transport/logistics/supply chain (beneficial).
  • Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
  • Competent on Excel.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience within logistics/shipping environment (export/import documentation, bill of lading, invoicing, sea/air fright).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Strong administration skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong numerical skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Planning, shipment, and distribution
  • Picking and loading according to the schedule.
  • Responsible for raw material and local transport from suppliers.
  • Manage all administration and export documentation.
