SUMMARY:
Our client, internationally established Manufacturing organization, based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town has an opportunity available for a Junior Shipping Controller.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
  • National Certificate or Diploma in transport/logistics/supply chain (beneficial)
  • Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
  • Competent on Excel
  • Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience within logistics/shipping environment (export/import documentation, bill of lading, invoicing, sea/air fright)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Strong administration skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong numerical skills

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Planning, shipment, and distribution
  • Picking and loading according to the schedule.
  • Responsible for raw material and local transport from suppliers.
  • Manage all administration and export documentation.
