Junior Shipping Clerk (Temp)

SUMMARY:
Company situated in the Bedfordview area is urgently seeking a Junior Shipping Clerk, temporary position with the possibility of going permanent.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Create all new orders on Pastel Evolution and Word, send to suppliers
• Tracking all orders
• Updating the shipping schedule
• Getting estimates for couriers and freight forwarders
• Assist with courier collections and deliveries
• Handle all Import - both SEA & AIR Freight
• Handle all Export Air Freight
• Ensuring all export docs are received and filed
• Handle Pre- inspection and liaise with Bureau Veritas on Exports
• Ensuring we have the necessary updated certificates for imported items
• Handle all forwarder''''s accounts - questions and complaints
• Courier all samples, assist with RMA queries
• Request weight, dimensions and all relevant documents from international suppliers
• Handling of shipping docs, ensure correct for cleaning purposes
• Handle warehouse if necessary
• Checking biling is correct
• Assist with NRSC regulations
• Costings for GRV for Manager
• Handle all international supplier recons monthly for Manager
• Back up for reception / switchboard function
