Junior Seasoning Developer - Food Manufacturing Industry

SUMMARY:
A leading Company specializing in the Manufacturing of Spices, requires the above to provide support to the Technical Manager, researching the markets for the latest technology to develop new and modify existing products and processes ensuring that all New Product Development Projects are completed and submitted to the clients.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• A tertiary qualification in Food Technology/Science.
• Previous experience having worked within a Food Manufacturing Company in Development and Seasoning Development would be beneficial. 
• Must have the ability to work independently within a team environment and handle multiple projects.
• Must have good communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to interact in cross-functional environments, such as Development, Quality and Customer interaction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing and developing seasoning, coating and breading for Meat Applications.
• Researching the Consumer market for the latest technology to develop new and modify existing products and processes.
• Preparing product coatings based on raw materials and working with Finance and other inhouse departments to provide profitable products.
• Match seasonings as per Key Customer requirements.
• Drafting and submitting ingredient statements and customer questionnaires.
• Sourcing ingredients that may be required in the development, product formulation and application recipe design that is required by the customer.
