Junior Scrum Master / Administrator - (CONTRACT)

Job Purpose:

The role of the of the Junior Scrum Master/Administrator is to support the Sales Data Hub Scrum Master through administrative tasks required to navigate delivery in the operational environment.

Output/Core Tasks:

• Facilitate the Scrum Ceremonies for operational team (with support)
• Generate necessary Scrum artefacts to support delivery (flight plans, status updates etc.)
• Proactively monitoring Project progress, resolving issues, and initiating appropriate corrective action together with Senior Scrum Master
• Present to various Stakeholder forums on progress of operational delivery

Role Requirements:

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree is required, and post graduate degree is beneficial. (e.g. BBusSci, BCom Information Systems/Informatics, BCom Business Management in Project Management)
• PMI/Prince2 Certification, PMBOK, Agile/SCRUM Certification advantageous

Knowledge and Experience:

• Understanding of project/program management techniques and methods (Agile/Scrum)
• Structured, organised and good planning
• Quality and accuracy orientation
• High energy levels and action orientation
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent problem-solving ability
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Ability to manage and execute projects (with support)
• Knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (eg. MS Project etc.) is a strong advantage

Competencies:

• Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
• Agile environment experience (Jira & Way of work)
• Understanding of data warehousing principles (e.g. Data Vault) would be advantageous
