Junior Sales Representative

Our client has an opportunity available for a Junior Sales Representative based in Johannesburg.

Requirements:

• 3+ years working experience with exposure to as many as the following as possible:
  • Technical Sales – Mining and Industrial.
  • Market Support.
  • General Administration.
• Exposure to:
  • Lubricant equipment.
  • Bulk and Fast Fill Fueling Systems.
  • Total Fluid Management including Filtration.
  • Lighting
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Matric or N4 Technical or equivalent.
• Experience using SYSPRO financial system.
• 1+ years sales and marketing experience.
• Own transport and cell phone.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain 3 to 4 existing customers.
• Gain product and industry knowledge.
• Check customer accounts and credit.
• Answer all sales related calls.
• Compile monthly sales forecasts and annual budgets.
• Assist with new product launches.
• Follow up with internal staff on back orders.
• Update activity reports on Excel ensuring accurate information for the sales meeting.
• Attend all sales meetings.
• Receive, copy and distribute mail.
• Gather and forward items for the newsletter to the marketing department.
• Have a familiarity with ISO QMS systems and work with the ISO team when required.
