JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client has an opportunity available for a Junior Sales Representative based in Johannesburg.

Requirements:

3+ years working experience with exposure to as many as the following as possible:
- Technical Sales – Mining and Industrial.
- Market Support.
- General Administration.
Exposure to:
- Lubricant equipment.
- Bulk and Fast Fill Fueling Systems.
- Total Fluid Management including Filtration.
- Lighting
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Matric or N4 Technical or equivalent.
Experience using SYSPRO financial system.
1+ years sales and marketing experience.
Own transport and cell phone.

Responsibilities:

Maintain 3 to 4 existing customers.
Gain product and industry knowledge.
Check customer accounts and credit.
Answer all sales related calls.
Compile monthly sales forecasts and annual budgets.
Assist with new product launches.
Follow up with internal staff on back orders.
Update activity reports on Excel ensuring accurate information for the sales meeting.
Attend all sales meetings.
Receive, copy and distribute mail.
Gather and forward items for the newsletter to the marketing department.
Have a familiarity with ISO QMS systems and work with the ISO team when required.
