JOB DESCRIPTION:

A leading FMCG company is looking for a Junior Sales Executive to join their team of go-getters in Johannesburg South. The ideal candidate will have previous industry experience in a food production environment.

Education:

Tertiary qualification in food science/food technology/agricultural science/Marketing/Business is desirable

Skills/Experience required:

At least 3 – 5 years strong sales experience within FMCG
Previous industry experience in a food production environment is advantageous

Job Description:

Deliver targeted revenue and margin for assigned customers in ensuring the budget is achieved.
Manage and grow the existing customer base, presenting further future opportunities to grow market share.
Conduct market research on target markets and create new business opportunities
Develop positive and strong relationships with suppliers
Work closely with finance and logistics team to ensure all processes are followed.
Contribute and regularly update sales data at weekly meetings.
Actively contribute as member of the sales management team in supporting a longer-term growth strategy.
Represent the company in a professional manner
Support and execute the overall company and product strategies.
Worldwide travel required for this role.
