POSITION INFO:

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Maintaining occupational Health, Safety and Environmental (OHSE) Management Systems (ISO 14001 and (18001)
• Continuous improvement of OHSE interventions (e.g.toolbox talks)
• Assist with the management of OHSE representatives and OHSE sub-committees
• Managing incident investigations, risk assessments, audits and inspections in conjunction with the SHE Officer
• Facilitate IOD processes for injuries that occur on duty
• OHSE induction of new employees and contractors
• Audit contractor compliance (OHSE files, compliance with Company safety regulations etc.)
• Assist in compiling and presenting monthly reports (incident trends, analyzed data, audit gaps and corrective actions)

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a recognized national diploma in health and safety
• SAMTRAC Qualification is advantageous
• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in OHSE within the automotive industry (Advantageous)
• Have minimum of 3 years’ experience in incident investigation, risk assessment and auditing (OHSE) (Advantageous)
• Be fully Computer Literate (Excel & Outlook Email)
• Willingness to work shifts
