POSITION INFO:

Qualifications & Experience

BSc : Quantity Surveyor, or

B.Tech : Quantity Surveying

Min 5 years'' with similar experience

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Be able to compile a tender on a new contract
• Work through the conditions of the contract and ensure that all conditions are met and were included in the quotation
• Thorough understanding of the JBCC bundle of contracts, with some practical post qualification experience
• Ability to clearly communicate with senior personnel
• Be able to measure and compile monthly claims on all the various contracts.
• Apply the escalation formulas and know how to calculate retentions and to collect the correct amounts on time.
• Know all the different types of guarantees used in the construction sector, and if required, being able to raise the correct guarantee from the bank.
• Oversee and sign off on Final Accounts with the client’s senior QS, 
• Being able to collect the correct debtor payments on time during and after the contract.
