SUMMARY:
Junior Quantity Surveyor required for a well known, established building contractor that handle Residential, small Commercial and Industrial building projects throughout the Northern Subburbs of Cape Town

POSITION INFO:
Education requirements - B.Tech or B.Sc Quantity Surveyor
MS Excel skills are essential

Duties and Responsibilities:

Preparing original bill of quantities before commencement of project.
Obtaining 3 quotes minimum for each trade.
Sub-contractor appointments and payments.
Preparing live budget reports on a weekly basis.
Updating the budget as soon as all invoices are received.
Measuring off drawings for material orders and obtaining 3 quotes minimum.
Approving quotes/invoices and sending it off to the client for payment.
