SUMMARY:
Junior Quantity Surveyor required to be site based in Gugulethu

POSITION INFO:

Qualification required: B.Tech Quantity Surveying

Duties:

  • Pricing and estimating
  • B.O.Q, Ordering of Materials
  • Progress Managing and Reporting
  • Taking measurement on site
  • Preparing claim certificate of subcontractors
  • Reporting on Technical issues
  • Preparing weekly site reports for project manager
  • Preparing claim certificate for the month end
  • Preparing monthly program.

Skills required:

  • CCS
  • Must have Cost Management skills and understand Construction Management, Pricing and Estimating
  • 5 to 8 years experience preferably gained on Shopping Malls and large Commercial Building projects

Our Client has been appointed to construct a new Shopping Mall in Gugulethu and they require a Site Based QS for a 10 to 12 month contract
