SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Junior Quality Control Technologist in the Production Facility who independently executes the applicable
quality control checks/inspections to ensure the compliance of products.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Accountabilities:

Perform various in-process and final product Quality Control on bacterial and viral antigens.
Perform Incoming Inspections, sampling, and verifications of raw and packaging Materials.
Manage the retention sample store and perform Hygiene Monitoring in the facility.
Perform seed purity for production and sterility testing of primary packaging materials.
Perform weekly sampling of water, sending samples for micro testing and documenting of results.
Filing, Scanning, and Archiving of QC and Batch Manufacturing documents.
Daily monitoring of laminar flow, incubators, and fridges and completion of logbooks.
Perform Thermal stability, Viscosity, and Moisture testing for Vaccines.
Perform line opening and line closing inspections and ensure to report all non-conformities and observations.
Perform monthly stock count for the quality department and ordering of media from suppliers.
Ensure compliance with the requirements of the company's Quality System.

Qualifications:

National Diploma / Degree in Veterinary Technology / Biotechnology / Food Safety / Analytical Chemistry.

Experience:

1 to 2 years of relevant QC Laboratory experience.
Experience in ISO 9001-2015 and in cGMP would be beneficial.

Ability to plan prioritise and organise efficiently.

Additional requirements:

Physical endurance and the ability to stand for long periods of time
Candidates must be willing to work flexible and long hours on short notice when required.
