Junior Project Manager

POSITION INFO:

• Strategy & Planning
  • Develop concrete, detailed plans for a project, including the schedule, the budget, outlining the duties of each team member, identifying project goals, and setting a timeline for the project.
  • Collaborate with various teams and hold meetings to develop project plans and present them to upper-level management before starting the project.
  • Closely monitor each project to ensure that projects remain on track, meet deadlines, stay under budget, and develop according to plan.
  • Responsible not only for identifying project objectives but ensuring that they’re met.
• Relationship Management
  • Gathering and documenting all project results and presenting them to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Report on the success of the project, any setbacks that were encountered and room for improvement.
• General
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency.

• Technical
  • Do you have one years’ experience managing small projects?
  • Are you MSP Advanced?
  • Do you have a CAPM – or equivalent qualification?
  • Do you have two years’ experience with SDLC Projects as a Project Administrator/Co-Ordinator?
  • Do you have a basic understanding of SharePoint?
  • Would you rate yourself as intermediate MS Excel?
  • Have you worked on MS Projects?
  • Are you MS advanced?
