SUMMARY:
The client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Junior Product and Tooling development Engineer between the ages of 25 and 35, to join their team in Boksburg, Gauteng.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position:    Junior Product and Tooling Development Engineer
Industry     High Volume Manufacturing environment
Location:    Boksburg, Gauteng
Salary:        Between R20 000‐R25 000 per month 

Qualifications/Experience:  
  • A degree in mechanical engineering.
  • 1‐2 Year’s working experience in the field of study.

Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Assist with product design and development.
  • Assist with tooling design and development.
  • Manufacturing process improvements.
  • Creation of drawings for new products and new product ranges.
  • Development of process parameters within the operational facility. 
  • Assessing the mechanical design properties of the product and determining if it has met the desired standards and functionality.
