POSITION INFO:

Our client is seeking a Junior Product Developer with the necessary qualification and skills to merchandise the variety of products available on our site in a consumer-centric way.

Llooking for a self-driven individual who is willing to go above and beyond in the world of online retail. The position is full time and is based in Midrand.

This role would be reporting to the head of product development and the candidate will be responsible for planning and developing a range to sell on the site considering customer demand, pricing, quality and availability, market trends, company policy and financial budgets.

Principal Job Responsibilities & duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Experience in identifying trends
• Presenting new ranges to management
• Manage product ranges and carry out regular range reviews
• Analysing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends
• Regularly reviewing performance indicators, such as sales, promotions and discount levels managing stock levels
• Reacting to changes in demand and logistics
• Liaise with suppliers and form partnerships to increase turnover to mutual advantage
• Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products
• Liaising with other departments within the organization to ensure projects are completed
• Participating in promotional activities
• Writing reports and forecasting sales levels
• Getting feedback from customers
