JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job description
  • Strategic sourcing and negotiate deals with suppliers
  • Preparing product specifications for a wide range of product and commodities
  • Develop strong supplier relationship and performance with suitable key performance indicators
  • Negotiate quotations to improve prices with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings
  • Purchase goods, materials, chemicals, and components in line with cost, quality and delivery targets
 
Job Experience & Skills Required:
  • Matric
  • Degree in Supply Chain / Procurement
  • CIPS / MCIPS advantageous
  • Must be proficient on ERP Systems
  • 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain within the Heavy Manufacturing environment
