Junior Portfolio Manager

SUMMARY:
Junior Portfolio Manager – R450K – R530K Durban Calling on all Junior Portfolio Managers Based in DURBAN. My client in the property space is looking to employ a Junior Portfolio Manager. The successful individual will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and securing multi-unit residential loans and undertaking all administration necessary to finalise loans.

POSITION INFO:

The Ideal Candidate

• Must have a minimum of 3-5 years business experience, preferably in the property industry.
• Must have minimum 3 years’ experience in the Commercial Property Finance environment.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.

Duties include:

Business Development

Source new clients and loans by networking with market role players

Identify market opportunities by conducting research

To promote the business brand and business model by engaging with market players

Deal making

Evaluate the potential deals by reviewing the buildings and locations

Developing financial structures

Develop loan proposals by sourcing and completing client and project details

To secure approval for loans by distributing loan proposals

Stakeholder Relationship Management

To own relationships with existing and new client by engaging with clients

To resolve client queries

Loan Portfolio Management

To manage the assets by conducting building inspections

Identify asset management issues

To manage client portfolios by monitoring key property management

To manage registration by monitoring compliance of pre-registration conditions

Construction Management

To monitor construction project progress by attending regular site meetings

To resolve construction risk by identifying the area of concern

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification – NQF 7 Commerce, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Science, or any related qualification
