SUMMARY:
Durban. Popular clothing and accessories retailer seeks Junior Payroll / HR Administrator with exceptional attention to detail to fulfil a six-month temporary position. Pastel Payroll and Pastel Partner experience is essential, as is strong Excel ability.

POSITION INFO:

Will suit deadline driven, hardworking candidate with the ability to work well under pressure and work independently.

Prepare and issue contracts, letters, etc. Support Retail and other teams with labour inspections. Prepare EMP201 returns for submission and payments. Perform monthly payroll journal entries in Pastel partner. Reconcile monthly Pastel accounts. Import timesheets form attendance / clocking system into payroll.

Requirements:

Experience and knowledge of statutory requirements for payroll i.e. EMP201, EMP501, COIDA, Workmens Compensation, ETI etc.
Experience with contracts, HR matters, and minute taking
Good filing and organisational skills
Knowledge and experience on Provident Funds / Retirement Funding beneficial
Good writing skills
Willing to take initiative on trying exports / imports of data
