Junior Marketer and Designer

Training/Education requirements

-       Hospitality qualification preferred

-       Design Courses and / or qualifications

Requirements for work experience/skills

• Solid understanding and knowledge of the tourism industry
• Experience in a B2B or B2B marketing environment
• Strong design skills and experience using Photoshop, Lightroom, Corel etc
• Professional demeaner
• Self-management

• Full knowledge of our Game Reserve operations and the ability to communicate effectively to existing and potential clients to increase occupancy of the lodges.
• Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the marketing department’s activities
• Collaborating with the Marketing manager, internal teams, clients, and partners on marketing strategy.
• Act as the link between our external Marketing Agency and the Sales & Marketing Manager.
• Support marketing executives in organizing various projects
• Handle all design work, including but not limited to mailers, flyers, brochures, signatures and adverts
• Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success
• Prepare and deliver promotional presentations together with Marketing Agency and Senior Management.
• Monitor Social Media and Online content, ensuring that all content is in line with brand requirmemts.
• Write or manage the writing of marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc) to augment the company’s presence in the market
• Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships
• Learning and working with various types of software for digital marketing.
• Working closely with sales and marketing department.

• Understanding company product and brand.
• Maintaining a marketing database.
• General office duties.
• Creating and interpreting a variety of reports.
• Updating and ensuring appropriate management of social media accounts.
