Job & Company Description:
My client, one of the top consultancies, is looking to provide an opportunity for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to manage a team of risk specialists in order to provide specialist knowledge, skills and expertise in the execution of credit risk modelling and validations. This candidate will be responsible for supporting and contributing to the model development and validation function. The ideal candidate must be able to effectively understand and interpret the statistical practices and techniques in credit risk model development, have relevant experience in computer languages such as SAS and Python and be able to actively engage with stakeholders.

Education:

Honours or Masters degree in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Statistics etc.
Strong managerial experience
A postgraduate qualification such as CFA, FRM or PRM will be advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

5+ years’ experience in quantitative credit risk
Proven managerial track record
Good understanding of relevant computer coding languages
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Be well versed in explaining quantitative concepts
Effective time management and decision-making skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
