Well respected giant within financial services environment looking for an Intermediate Java developer to provide IT expertise and advice in the new and enhanced applications and systems at their Johannesburg offices.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications:
· B.Comm, B.Eng, BSC Eng, BSC Informatics or related degree.

Experience:
Min of 3 years

Skills:
· Java 8 or latest version

AWS, Docker and Kubernate
Restful services and SOAP
Spring Boot
Microservices
Atlassian Tools, Jira, Confluence
System design experience advantageous.

Job description:
·         Code, compile, test and implement applications in compliance with the SDLC
·         Support development environments.
·         Assess, identify, and mitigate potential risks within the IT programming environment
·         Strategic Planning
·         Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Java
·         Supervises the work of other IT team developers and the IT team
