Junior Investment Analyst

A start-up Investment and Wealth Management firm based in Midrand is looking for a passionate and hardworking Junior Investment Analyst to join their investment team!

Salary: circa 240K per annum

Non-negotiable Qualification and Experience required

• Honours level degree (NQF 8) with a major in Investment Management/Actuarial Science/Economics/Mathematics or Statistics/Risk Management
• Experience in financial services/investment management will be advantageous, but not required
• Understanding of economics, financial markets essential, and financial products such as unit trusts advantageous
• Exceptional analytical and reporting skills
• Strong technological skills and proficient in MS Office (especially Advanced Excel)

Responsibilities will include:

• Portfolio analysis and reporting
• Portfolio risk management
• Portfolio management system and tools development
• Quantitative and qualitative fund manager research
• Quantitative modelling
• Market and economic research, analysis and reporting
