SUMMARY:
Calling all Junior Internal Auditors in Johannesburg North.

POSITION INFO:

Our client is a leading manufacturer, distributer and retailer nation-wide who is seeking an Internal Auditor to join their department. The ideal individual has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the standards and ethics prescribed by the IIA and ISPPIA, as well as a strong background in manufacturing and retail.

The successful candidate will spend most of their time in stores and on-site performing engagements

Required Qualifications and Experience:

BCom Internal Audit / BTech Internal Audit or similar a qualification
Studying towards CIA - beneficial
Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing and retail

Responsibilities include:

Conduct internal audits at various businesses independently and in a team
Identify weaknesses in procedures, systems and internal controls and make recommendations
Improve the internal controls and governance processes
Perform stock-take audits at various branches/factories/divisions
Objectively review a factory/divisions business processes and risks, and evaluate the efficiency of risk management procedures that are currently in place
Ensure that the organisation is complying with relevant laws and regulations

Additional requirements and skills:

Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
Must be willing and able to travel
Advanced computer skills on MS Office (SAP is an added advantage)
Excellent analytical skills - detail oriented
Strong report writing skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Deadline driven
Sound independent judgement
High level of integrity
