Junior Internal Auditor

SUMMARY:
Recently Qualified Internal Auditor with 3 years working experience within a national auditing environment

POSITION INFO:

Our esteemed national client within the FMCG industry, is looking for a recently qualified B.Com Accounts graduate with ideally 3 years internal auditing experience, within a national environment.

LOCATION: Centurion

Important Note: This role involves extensive and regular travel to company sites throughout SA and into Africa.  Own transport and a valid drivers licence is also essential. 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

A B.Com Degree is Essential

Plus ideally, at least 3 years working experience within a national Internal Auditing environment, for manufacturing clients preferably.

Advanced computer literacy on MS Office, especially Excel.

Must have solid kowledge and skill in applying internal auditing and accounting principles and practices.

Advanced knowledge of ERP systems, e.g. Syspro

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Completion of system description re audit processes

Understanding of control objectives and frameworks plus the concept of internal controls.

Solid understanding of systems and processes within organisations

Drafting audit programmes

Perform tests on current contorls

Collection and analyis of data to detect deficient controls/control weaknesses.

Drafting of formal and informal queries and discussion of audit findings

Identification, development and documentation of audit issues and recommendations.

Liaising with the client to discuss implementation dates of recommendations.
