POSITION INFO:

Our well-known client within the Financial Industry, is looking to hire a Junior Internal Auditor.

Requirements:

• Tertiary Qualification in Internal Audit / Accounting / Business / Finance or any related field.
• Graduate / 1-year related work experience.
• Audit / Accounting or related business experience.
• Preferred public sector accounting / audit experience.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Caseware / BarnOwl or any relevant accounting software.

Duties (but not limited to):

• Manage own time, share responsibilities, maintain communication and update senior internal auditor / team leader on progress.
  
• Communicate with senior internal auditor / team leader in regards to any issues / challenges / concerns in order to address issue and complete task on time
  
• Give support and assistance when needed in order to ensure all daily operations are done correctly and on time
  
• Develop and maintain relationships with client personnel
  
• Contribute to the devlopment of documents / presentations that present issues and come up with solutions
  
• Evaluate interal controls, apply audit techniques, prepare audit papers, find solutions, and document findings as part of conducting financial, operational and compliance audits at internal audit clients.
  
• Assist in drafting the Risk and Initial Assessment summary that needs to be submitted by Senior Internal Auditors
  
• Attend internal and client opening meetings and take minutes
  
• Assist in drafting Business Process, Risk & Control Matrix
  
• Give input to and challenge the Audit Program
  
• Ensure working papers are of the highest quality
  
• Identify issues, draft and submit audit findings
  
• Assist in drafting the Internal Audit report
  
• Assist in completing project quality assurance documentation
