POSITION: Junior Sales Engineer 

LOCATION: Johannesburg

Salary R15 000 Plus commission

Minimum Requirements 

• Technical background in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering (Preferable)
• Knowledge of valves would be an advantage. 
• Must be a self-starter (go getter). 
• Must have a reliable vehicle. 
• Must be willing to travel. 

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE: 

• Planning and making sales calls. 
• Cold calling to identify and secure new customers. 
• Completing and submitting call plans and reports.
• Prepare and submit quotes to customers. 
• Prepare and present sales presentations. 
• Planning and executing of market penetration strategies.
• Ensure that key customers are comprehensively serviced and visited (Including occasional entertainment) 
• Keep management informed of market changes and trends, which may affect our business. 
• Manage customer relations ensuring that customers receive appropriate feedback and that a professional customer experience is always maintained. 
• Ensure that the company is included in all tenders and that customer vendors lists are continuously updated to include the company.
• Calling on and servicing existing client base and expanding existing client base. 
• Contribute to branch profitability and ensure that sales budgets are met.
