POSITION INFO:

We are currently hiring a Junior Industrial Relations Manager to join our Human Resources team and be responsible for facilitating relationships with employees and unions with the aim of building a positive and engaged work environment.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing relationships with unions & ensuring that the Company''s treatment of employees is consistent with its core business values and objectives.

• Handling complaints, managing grievance procedures and facilitating counseling in conjunction with other stakeholders.

• Investigating and resolving complex or critical industrial relations issues in a timely and effective manner.

• Collating and analyzing employee feedback across all levels on a regular basis and revising people programs and policies to generate more positive outcomes.

• Participating in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

• Post Graduate Degree in Industrial Psychology/ Industrial Relations/ Human Resources Management/ Labour law
• 5 Years experience which includes general HR and full scope of Industrial Relations.
• Advanced Labour Law Diploma

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Knowledge of labour legislation and CCMA representation

• Prior experienced in employee relations or industrial relations

• Strong experience in dealing with unions

• Strong knowledge of HR policies & procedures

• In depth knowledge of employment legislations

• Strong problem solving, negotiation & influencing skills

• Advanced computer literacy
• Conflict resolution skills
• Negotiation and facilitation skills
• Keeping abreast with industry latest developments
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
