JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties & Responsibilities

Education and Minimum Requirements:

BEng Degree
Possesses understanding in the areas of user experience, application development and system architecture
Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems
Understand customer and organizational requests and based upon them, design and create requirements for elegant solutions that serve the needs of multiple constituencies simultaneously

Competencies:

Passionate and knowledgeable about usability with the ability to simplify products for users
He or she will be able to keep their composure in a fast moving, dynamic environment
Team player with Gladiator spirit!

Problem solving and decision making

Responsibilities

1st line Support to all business operating units
To function as the interface between the business (Operations, airport staff and internal departments) and IT delivery teams, to act on disruptive operations.
Problem solving and escalation of priority tasks where required
To engage in problem analysis and resolution and continuous evaluation of current systems and processes with the objective of creating a unique customer service experience
To fulfil a cross-functional role by engaging and facilitating effective communication flow between Operations, IT and other support divisions as part of the Business Improvement Team
Evaluate and analyse current process metrics and performance to identify areas requiring improvements.
Analyse and identify opportunities to reduce process variation, improve process capabilities and optimize process performance.
Develop process improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and productivity
Strong customer centric focus especial
Manage and facilitate the documentation related to analysis of specific improvement initiatives through engagement with initiative owners
Lead testing efforts as required
Drive change management in a pro-active manner
