JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, a well-established and prestigious wine estate situated in the Cape Winelands, has a vacancy for a Junior Horticulturist.

Requirements:

A Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture or Biological Sciences essential.
At least 2 to 4 years’ working experience as a Horticulturist.
Must live in Paarl or Stellenbosch area.

Skills:

Excellent knowledge of Horticulture crops.
It is essential that the successful candidate has knowledge and experience of landscaping and irrigation.
Knowledge and experience of Hydroponics will be a bonus.
Practical and technical skills needed.
Must be a reliable person with high energy levels.
Must be able who takes initiative.
Driver’s license and own vehicle.
Computer literacy.

Area: Cape Winelands.

Salary offered: R10 000 – R12 000 per month.

There will be a 3-month probation period.

Starting date: As soon as possible.
