Our client is looking for a Junior Food Technologist, This role is responsible for supporting the development and production of food products. This includes conducting experiments, developing recipes, and testing new products. The Junior Food Technologist will also work with other departments to ensure that products meet quality standards and are safe for consumption.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct experiments and research to develop new food products

• Develop recipes and formulas for food products

• Test new products for taste, texture, and nutritional value

• Work with other departments to ensure that products meet quality standards and are safe for consumption

• Maintain records of food production and quality control

• Stay up-to-date on food safety regulations

Key Skills:

• Knowledge of technical processes and procedures,

• Knowledge of food safety and packaging legal requirements,

• Knowledge of labeling requirements,

• Knowledge of the technical role in the product development process,

• Knowledge of the technical requirements of food manufacturing processes,

• Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control systems and processes,

• Knowledge of technical food safety auditing is desirable,
