SUMMARY:
On the lookout a Junior Financial Manager to join a fast-growing group in the agriculture sector. This position has a strong focus on execution and how activities impact on business outcomes. If you have the ability to operate in a dynamic environment and working to tight deadlines this is the role for you.

POSITION INFO:

Prepares/reviews financial reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing account information and trends

Month-end closing procedures

Assist with Financial Reporting (including Management Accounts and AFS)

Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts, posting transactions and ensure legal requirements compliance

Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts, defining bookkeeping policies and procedures

Maintain financial records up to a General Ledger Level

Reviewing financial data (sales, bank statements, expenses) and providing accounting support to CFO

Review work of Financial Administrators

Assisting in the compilation of tax returns to ensure compliance across payroll, vat and income tax

Review of payroll

Preparation of management accounts

Annual audit assistance

Other ad hoc finance and operational related tasks

Budgeting and forecasting

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years experience in the agriculture sector

Qualification:

(SAICA or SAIPA) or registered as CA(SA)

Minimum 3 – 5 years working experience in a similar position
