Junior Financial Manager

SUMMARY:
Junior Finance Manager (Qualified CA) required for Telecommunications industry based in Buccleuch with SAP, stock, pricing, rebates and business analysis skills with the ability to travel to territories when required.

POSITION INFO:

We are looking for a Junior Finance Manager who is professional, diligent, has good attention to detail and who is an innovative team player. The successful candidate must be a qualified CA and will be responsible for various aspects of financial management as well as bridging the gap between finance and operations within the business. The successful candidate will contribute to the effectiveness, efficiency and health of the company financial position through providing financial intelligence, analysis and problem-solving ability to the business and to the various stakeholders on a timeous basis.

Key Accountabilities:

• Stock control and management across all territories
• Rebate and incentive management across the territories
• Deals and price support management.
• Commission calculations and assessments
• Debtors and Creditors Management
• Key project and account management
• Trend analysis in finance and operations
• System overview and enhancements
• General ledger account management
• Control and System implementation and review.

Core Functions:

• Stock management including stock reports aged stock analysis, stock transfers etc.
• Assistance with stock take variances and postings.
• Stock and pricing adjustments
• Management of rebate models and calculations across the territories
• Management of deal and incentive structures across the territories
• Commission calculations and adjustment tracking
• Key account management including sales and stock on hand reconciliations.
• In depth review of debtors and creditors accounts and resolving any issues
• Managing and reviewing general ledger accounts
• Sales, gross profit, cost of sales, logistics costs analysis
• Assistance with audit requirements
• Assistance with AFS and financial reporting
• Assistance with budgeting and forecasting
• Various operational and adhoc reporting.
• Assisting team with various queries and analysis of results.
• Implementation and review of internal controls and processes.
• Enhancement of systems.
• Management of finance functions in the foreign territories.
• Communication with country managers, suppliers, customers and key account managers.

 Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Newly Qualified CA.
• 0-3 years post qualification experience in company which contained inventory.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• SAP Business One exposure preferable.
• Up to date with latest IFRS Standards.
• Up to date with latest tax laws and compliance
• Must be able to access the offices (transportation)
• Driver’s License (Code B)
• Computer literacy; fully conversant with the current uses of information technology.
• Be able to work with high level of accuracy; ability to work at both a detailed and strategic level.
• Highly numerate and able to analyse statistical information and interpret financial data.
• Be able to work under pressure; meet deadlines timeously.
• Extremely dedicated; be willing to go the extra mile.
• Must be able to work as part of a team.
• Excellent report writing skills.
• Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
• Be able to use initiative; ability to deal with new situations, difficulties, and to come up with solutions.
