SUMMARY:
Are you a newly qualified or recently qualified CA(SA) looking to grow your career within a fast-paced FMCG or food manufacturing environment? Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant / Junior Finance Manager to join their finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who is eager to gain exposure to commercial finance, reporting, operations, and strategic business partnering within a dynamic industry.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
Monitor stock, costing, and margin analysis within the FMCG / food environment
Assist with cash flow management and financial controls
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and statutory requirements
Support audits and liaise with external auditors
Analyse financial data and provide insights to support business decisions
Work closely with operational teams to improve efficiencies and profitability

Requirements:

Qualified CA(SA) or newly qualified CA(SA)
1–3 years post-article experience advantageous
Exposure to FMCG, food manufacturing, retail, or stock-driven environments preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Advanced Excel skills and exposure to ERP systems beneficial
Energetic, hands-on, and eager to grow within a high-performance environment
