SUMMARY:
Our client in the shipping industry is urgently looking to employ a Junior Financial Controller at their organization

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Location: Little Falls, Roodepoort

Requirements:

Matric
Degree/Diploma in Finance
4 years of experience in a finance role
Debtor's and Creditor's experience
Experience in the transport industry is preferred
Must be willing to work weekends if required

Responsibilities:

Full scope Creditor's functions
Provide Debtor's backup
Assisting with profit and loss and capturing on Liner Suite (our system)
Assisting with admin work. i.e stationery, dog grooming etc.
Assisting with filing credit application forms.
Ensure all filing is up to date.
Assisting with reports where needed.
Reconciling and forecasts where needed
Submission of month Creditors Age Analysis to management
Be able to take accounts meeting minutes.
Must be present at Financial Meetings with Management
