A well-known Engineering Consulting company providing multi-disciplinary engineering designs to the build industry, requires the full-time services of a Junior Financial Assistant for a permanent position based in Cape Town, to join their dynamic team ASAP!

POSITION INFO:
JOB DESCRIPTION

General bookkeeping
Financial Administration: Manage Financial Records, personnel files, office supplies and assist the Financial / Branch Manager as needed
Tenders & Proposals: Identify and evaluate tenders / RFPs / RFIs, compile responses, and track success rates
Project Administration & Billing: Register projects, update and maintain forecasts, issue invoices and project statements, manage debtors and collections, reconcile payments
ISO Compliance: Ensure adherence to ISO Processes, conduct audits, and report compliance
Petty Cash: Record, allocate, and reconcile monthly expenses

REQUIREMENTS:

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Accounting / Bookkeeping Diploma
Minimum three years previous experience in financial administration and bookkeeping / accounting
Experience in a similar role in project accounting or project cost control recommended

Skills:

Accounting / Project Management software knowledge essential
Proman knowledge (Recommended)
Minimum 3 years of Accounting / Bookkeeping experience
Meticulous attention to detail, organized and accurate
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, MS Word)
Punctual, good time management
Excellent communication skills, diplomatic
Strong interpersonal skills, keen team player
Problem solving
Conflict resolution
Understanding and experience of ISO requirements and audits beneficial
