Junior Financial Accountant

SUMMARY:
One of the Leading Manufacturing businesses in South Africa is in search for a skilled Junior Financial Accountant.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant Accounting or Financial degree
• SAICA Articles
• Sound knowledge of VAT rules
• MS Office competence
• Drivers Licence and own reliable transport

Performance Areas (Responsibilities):

The Junior Financial Accountant’s duties shall include, but not be limited to:

• Receive and capture journals in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
• Monthly reconciliation and administration of general ledger accounts for Central Finance.
• Monthly reconciliation of selected creditor accounts and debtor accounts.
• Rebilling of costs across legal entities.
• Maintenance and reconciliation of Municipal accounts.
• Assist with budgets and outlooks.
• Manage expenses in-line with budgets.
• Review Cashbook input on monthly basis.
• Attend to audit queries as and when required.
• Perform ad hoc duties as and when required within reasonable job scope.
