SUMMARY:
Junior Finance Manager/Senior Accountant required to assist the FM to oversee the day to day finance activities of the company. Based in Somerset West.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities

Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company invoicing, PO’s & Bills.
Oversee financial department employees, including financial assistants and accountant
Review financial data & monthly reports (Up to Trail balance e.g. Balance sheet recons etc.)
Oversee Inventory function
Oversee creditors function
Oversee debtors Function
Weekly reporting to the FM on the above

Skills and Qualifications:

Advanced degree in accounting, Articles will be an advantage
3 years of experience in a similar (retail) finance role (with people management experience) – after articles.
Experience in Xero is a prerequisite (DEAR inventory experience is a definite advantage)
Superior mathematical skills; leadership skills and experience; employee management; understanding of data privacy standards; solid communication skills, both written and verbal; superior attention to detail; organisational skills; planning skills; research skills; computer skills; multi-tasking abilities; integrity, honesty.
