SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a Junior Assistant to support their Finance function in the UK. The Junior Finance Assistant will support the the Management Accountant/General Manager with the effective and efficient operation of the Finance Department.

Location: Paarden Eiland
Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 10h00 – 19h00

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:
Purchase Orders

Raise purchase orders on the portal as received from Project Managers.
Assign purchase orders with live projects.
Raise queries with project managers and commercial managers when costings and margins fall below certain key points.

Other:

General day-to-day accounts administration duties.
Data capturing.
Any other duties that may reasonably be required.

Requirements:

Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
Experience in working in a Finance Department is essential.
Experience in finance systems would be desirable but is not essential.
Experience of working in the Construction Industry would be desirable, however training will be provided where necessary.
Great interpersonal skills with a calm and approachable nature.
Proactive and uses own initiative.
Flexible and able to prioritise own work.
Capable of working well in a team and with staff of different backgrounds and seniority, including those from non-financial disciplines.
Excellent IT skills (proficiency with Excel).
