SUMMARY:
Are you a technically minded individual with experience managing estimations and quotations? 
We require your accurate ability with costings for estimations with minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience.  You must be able to communicate well in Afrikaans and English to deal with the customers.
Ideally your expertise should be dealing with the signage, aluminium & steel sector and you require a good mathematical ability.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS
 
  • Prepare costings and quotations on computer system based on information provided by Project Managers
  • Understand and interpret technical drawings
  • Compile and submit tenders
  • Ensure quotation turn around are swift and quotations are sent out within 24-48hrs
  • Implement and maintain standard price lists for ongoing key account customers
  • Escalate quotation queries to costing manager in order to resolve timeously and effectively
  • Help to complete works orders and prepare for submission to factory
  • Assist to manage subcontractors on buyout jobs
  • Assist buyer with queries
  • Managing spreadsheets
  • Filing
  • Adhering to high ethical and professional standards
 
DUTIES
 
  • Matric
  • Technically minded
  • Minimum one - two years’ experience in an estimation capacity
  • Dealing with Steel, Aluminium, Signage etc
  • Independent thinker
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans
  • Problem solving skills
  • Results driven
