SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established Supply Chain company are looking for a Junior Estimator to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Must have experience in Sea Freight, Air Freight, Import / Export, Road Freight, LCL and FCL. The candidate is required to add value through reducing supply costs and improving service levels, being able to move any product effectively through a supply chain and being passionate about creating innovative supply chain solutions to customers

Responsibilities:

Confidentiality with all clients
Check all correct information provided to enable accurate estimates to be completed
Handle import /export enquiries for sea / air and road from point of enquiry through to
Good geographical knowledge
Keep all relevant negotiated rates –net and sell per estimate
Communicate with clients and internal departments / Forwarding /Customs / Transport
Work to deadlines for all estimate enquiries
Complete estimates per templates with accurate information
Completion of estimate for checking / approval / submission to client

Minimum Requirements:

Matric essential
3 years’ experience in sea freight / airfreight / Forwarding / Import / Export
All round clearing and forwarding knowledge
