Junior Estimator

Must have experience in Sea Freight, Air Freight, Import / Export, Road Freight, LCL and FCL. The candidate is required to add value through reducing supply costs and improving service levels, being able to move any product effectively through a supply chain and being passionate about creating innovative supply chain solutions to customers

Responsibilities:

• Confidentiality with all clients
• Check all correct information provided to enable accurate estimates to be completed
• Handle import /export enquiries for sea / air and road from point of enquiry through to
• Good geographical knowledge
• Keep all relevant negotiated rates –net and sell per estimate
• Communicate with clients and internal departments / Forwarding /Customs / Transport
• Work to deadlines for all estimate enquiries
• Complete estimates per templates with accurate information
• Completion of estimate for checking / approval / submission to client

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric essential
• 3 years’ experience in sea freight / airfreight / Forwarding / Import / Export
• All round clearing and forwarding knowledge
