SUMMARY:
The Estimator will be responsible for interacting existing clients in order to provide accurate and timeous estimates in all areas of the Tradestream business: Air / Sea / Import / Export / Road / Rail / JHB / DBN / CPT / PE / Overseas Agents

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primary Responsibilities:

Serving customers and fellow employees with respect, understanding and commitment to achieve service excellence.
Responding courteously and immediately to customer queries and requests for estimates.
Ensuring that the quality rendered is of the highest standard at all times and to appreciate that work of substandard quality is unacceptable.
24 HR turnaround time for FOB / CFR / DDU / DDP estimate
48 HR turnaround time for EXW estimates
Secure new business where ever possible through references from existing clients.
Conduct client visits when required.
Promote the extension of services to existing customers to ensure synergies across all Tradestream service offerings.
Assist clients in clearly understanding Tradestream conditions of trade to conform to the Consumer Protection Act.
Ensure that rates quoted and accepted by clients are updated into the various accounting systems so that correct invoices are produced.
Maintain updated client records.
Produce and submit weekly Estimate reports.
