Junior Entry Clerk

SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity has come up with a dominant Freight Forwarder based in The East Rand, GP.

POSITION INFO:

We are searching for a junior Entry clerk for a Freight Forwarder in Johannesburg.

In this role, you will be responsible for clearances through Customs for Imports and Exports and Bond-store entries.

Knowledge of: 

• INCO terms
• Tariff calculation concepts
• Tariff classifications
• Process customs clearance
• Tariff products against customs requirements
• Update customs tariff books, explanatory notes and index file
• VOC (Voucher of Correction)

In order to be shortlisted for the role, you MUST have:

• Grade 12
• 1 – 3 years Imports experience in a clearing and forwarding company
• A Customs related course by accredited training facility min NQF level 3
• Bond-store knowledge essential
