Junior Engineer

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Automotive sector is seeking to employ a Motivated Junior Engineer to join their team. To assist and support the Production in ensuring that the raw material supplied are as per the latest approved engineering specification. To assist and support the Technical department in monitoring the in line process measurement.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description: 

• Assist in Checking raw material parts as per latest approved engineering specification BOM / EngData from customer
• Assist Engineering / Quality for any rework and scrapping process
• Assist Engineering for process cycle time analysis and problem solving
• Assist Engineering with drawing vs Built part tear down analysis for spot weld, rivet and glue.
• Assist in updating optimization part History 
• Assist in updating shimming plan for all welding Fixtures.
• Support the cell technician and Engineering in monitoring Perceptron in-line process measurement
• Support production operators when needed

Job Requirements: 

• National Diploma / Certficate in Industrial / Mechanical Engineering
• SAP

Skills and Abilities

• Experience in an Automotive Production environment
• Understand and read drawings
