Junior Electronic engineer required to be trained in becoming an Embedded software engineer. Our client is looking for an applicant with strong mathematical background. Responsible for algorithm development and embedded design . Formal software design and development background an advantage. Testing, integration and documentation skills.

POSITION INFO:
Electronic Design Engineer

Centurion

Commercial development at Consulting and Product development company.

Our client wants to appoint a recent graduate or entry level/ junior Electronic engineer. The ideal person will be responsible for software development on low level C programming. Suitable candidate must have strong mathematical background
We require an engineer with more than 3 years’ embedded design experience

Qualification and Skills Required:

B Eng/ MENG Electronic Engineering
More than 3 years’ experience
Formal software design and development background will be an advantage
Testing, integration and documentation skills are important
Teamwork and inter-personal skills are essential in the high stress development environment

Responsibilities:

Will develop Realtime embedded software
Programming in C/C++
Algorithm development and implementation in C on TMS320 family of processors
The candidate will work with highly skilled senior engineers to develop an electro-mechanical system
Firmware skills
Experience with formal software development processes and standards
Testing, integration and documentation
