SUMMARY:

Junior electronic engineer required at our client. Our client is a company that specializes in Industrial Radio Control Systems and Machine Intelligence for the Mining Sector. The company is looking for a Junior Electronic Engineer who enjoys hands-on development work on hardware and software electronic applications. Will also be involved in R&D Products for their Mining and Construction Clients.

POSITION INFO:
Position: Junior Electronic Engineer
Location: Johannesburg East (Benoni/Brakpan)
Salary Range: TBA

Electronic Product Manufacturing company. Company designs manufactures and supplies industrial radio remote controls for underground mining machinery. The company is fully equipped to do fully customized radio remote control systems for applications in the Mining field, control and integration, they also specialise in design of custom applications.

The company also does Truck Mounted Product designs for the mining environment.

Qualifications:

B.Eng. Electronic / B.Eng. Electrical or Electronic Engineering OR
BTech. in said field
Recent graduate position

Responsibilities:

Design of industrial remote controls, hands free systems on any powered machine
Assist with costumed designed remote controls and associated equipment for Machinery
Programming in C, C++ and Python
PLC implementation languages like Structured Text, Continuous Function Chart
Will obtain skills in Codesys IDE
Atmel AVR programming
PCB’s layouts
