Our client is looking for a junior electrical engineer who is keen on gaining design on Complete Automotive designs from the first principles of electrical aspects on the Automotive side.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Junior Electrical Design Engineer

Randburg

Our client specializes in the development of systems for the Military, Mining, Railway and other commercials.

They are looking for a junior electrical engineer who is keen on gaining design on Complete Automotive designs from the first principles of electrical aspects on the Automotive side.

Qualification and skills required:

B. Eng. or B.Sc. in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering
Must be interested in electrical harnesses and associated designs for vehicles/ Trucks.

Responsibilities:

Electrical Designs of Vehicle systems.
Interface with the Electronic vehicle control system
Tasks include electrical schematic and harness design, 3-D harness modelling and integration with mechanical components.
Software for 3D Harness Modelling
Will gain experience in Schematics, Wiring Design, Routing, Machine Design, Harnesses
Complete electrical designs in a Vehicle such as the Harness design, and nodes. Human Machine Interface on Dash
Total electrical designs
Review meetings and liaison with the customer and suppliers
