Reputable company that specialises in Electrical and Automation Engineering has an opportunity available for a Junior Electrical Design Engineer to join their team!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:
  • Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
  • National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
  • Skilled in relevant design software such as AutoCAD
  • Disciplined, proactive, organised, and methodical
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transport
 
Technical Skills / Knowledge Required:
  • Ability to design electrical DBs and MCCs according to client specifications.
  • Interpreting and understanding client requirements from client documents (drawings, specifications, correspondence, etc.)
  • MV & LV Distribution.
  • Power Control Electronics.
  • Integrated Control Systems.
  • Design of electrical systems, items, and components.
  • Design of machine control systems, and components.
  • Design calculations.
  • Creating bills of material and configuration control of technical documents.
