Job Description
Requirements:
- Post-matric qualification in video production, specifically video editing
- Proven experience in working with video editing software to create long and short format video content (Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects)
- Highly creative with strong visual storytelling skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in creating basic graphics for use in video productions
- Experience in creating both rough and final cuts
- Experience in trimming footage segments and putting together the sequence of the film
- Demonstrated ability to input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy
- An ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment while honouring deadlines
- An ability to travel as required
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- Basic video animation skills – advantageous
- Basic video filming, sound recording and photography skills – advantageous
Role Accountabilities:
- Produce video content materials
- Assist with maintaining video libraries
- Assist with maintaining footage archives
