A Manufacturing company in Worcester is looking for a Junior Draughtsman to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

B tech or Engineering related qualification
1-2 years relevant experience (Mechanical Engineering environment)
Experience in Part and Assembly modelling, as well as the creation of drawings for manufacturing purposes
Solid works experience essential
Understanding of technical designs, drawings, and materials

Responsibilities:

Conversion of CAD models from Creo to Solidworks.
Conduct research
Assist with re-drawing of current models in Solid works.
Interactions and negotiations required in order to provide engineering deliverables
Responsible for providing relevant engineering deliverables including 3D CAD model, 2D Manufacturing & Assembly drawings, legislative documentation and bills of material
Contribute towards process improvements
Compliance to safety requirement
