SUMMARY:
A Cloud-Native SaaS business is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer (based in Centurion) for a hybrid and permanent role.

POSITION INFO:
Are you a Junior DevOps Engineer, with 1–2 years' experience, looking to sharpen your skills in a cloud-first, automation-focused team?

Work in a hybrid setup with modern tech like Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, and containerized environments.

If you enjoy optimizing deployments and improving cloud infrastructure, then this is a chance to fast-track your DevOps career.

Qualifications:

Matric / Grade 12
Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, IT, or similar (preferred)
Relevant certifications in Azure or DevOps (beneficial)

Requirements:

1–2 years' experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role
Azure and Azure DevOps experience
Kubernetes and Helm Chart management
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation
Familiar with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, and PowerShell)
Git and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform or Bicep) knowledge is a plus
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

KPA’s:

Maintain and support Azure-based infrastructure
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Deploy and manage containers with Kubernetes and Helm
Monitor and optimize infrastructure and application performance
Collaborate with dev teams to improve automation
Apply cloud security and compliance best practices
Maintain documentation and infrastructure standards
